Nongnooch Pattaya Garden Continues the Tradition of Offering Candles to Temples for Buddhist Worship in 2024

Mr. Kampol Tansatcha, President of Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, assigned representatives to offer candles to temples as part of the tradition. These candles will be used to light the temple halls for the entire three-month Buddhist Lent period, starting from the beginning of the Lent until the end. Offering candles symbolizes the representation of light, enhancing wisdom and clarity, and providing practical use for the monks.

The offering of candles by Nongnooch Pattaya Garden is an annual tradition. This week coincides with Asalha Puja Day and the beginning of the Buddhist Lent. This tradition aims to promote good practices among Buddhists and preserve Buddhist traditions.

The offering of candles to 9 temples includes Wat Yannasangwararam Worawiharn, Wat Sattahip, Wat Samakkhi Banphot, Wat Na Chom Thian, Wat Amparam, Wat Bang Saray Kharam, Wat Khao Khanthamat, Wat Nong Jab Tao, and Wat Sub Na Bun to be used during the Lent period.
