Nongnooch Garden Pattaya Hosts CHONBURI PROUD EXPO 2024, Empowering Chonburi SMEs to Reach Global Markets
The Ministry of Commerce is organizing CHONBURI PROUD EXPO 2024 at the Nongnooch Pattaya International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event aims to elevate the potential of Chonburi’s SMEs to the global stage. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, accompanied by Mr. Thawatchai Sritong, Governor of Chonburi, and Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, who warmly welcomed attendees. Also present were the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, the Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand, the Chairman of the Chonburi Chamber of Commerce, the Chairman of the Chonburi Federation of Industries, the Chonburi Provincial Commerce Office, government agency representatives, and private sector executives.
The event features over 100 booths showcasing exceptional products and services, including innovative goods, premium products under the CHONBURI PROUD initiative, and products certified with Geographical Indication (GI), reflecting the pride and quality of Chonburi.
Activities at the expo include exhibitions of innovative products and GI goods, both online and offline business matching sessions, and an academic seminar on the topic: "Chonburi: Opportunities and Challenges as a Trade, Investment, and Logistics Hub for China and ASEAN SMEs."
CHONBURI PROUD EXPO 2024 runs until November 24, 2024, with the goal of supporting SMEs in becoming a global trade and investment hub while driving Thailand's economy towards sustainable growth.
