Nongnooch Garden Pattaya Welcomes the New Year with the Opening of a New Learning Center in Collaboration with the Thai Sansevieria Club
Today, Mr. Kampon Tansacha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, along with Mr. Banlue Lodwan, President of the Club, Mr. Pramote Rojruangsang, Vice President of the Thai Sansevieria Growers Club, and their team, jointly inaugurated a new learning center focused on Sansevieria plants at the Garden in the Sky. This center features a collection of Sansevieria species from around the world, as well as newly developed varieties, providing an opportunity for study and knowledge sharing for enthusiasts and visitors.
Currently, the rising level of air pollution, especially fine particulate matter (PM2.5), poses health risks. In response, Nongnooch Garden Pattaya places great importance on promoting trees and plants that help reduce pollution and combat global warming. According to research by NASA on clean air, Sansevieria (D. trifasciata) has the potential to filter indoor air by removing four out of five major toxins linked to Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). Notably, placing this plant in bedrooms can improve sleep quality as it releases oxygen at night, enhancing respiratory health during sleep.
Nongnooch Garden Pattaya extends its gratitude to the Thai Sansevieria Club for sourcing rare and newly developed Sansevieria species for the center. These unique varieties are difficult to find in the present day. In addition to this new initiative, Nongnooch Garden Pattaya boasts over 18,000 plant species, which are beautifully arranged in more than 60 themed gardens. These attractions welcome both Thai and international tourists every day, offering them a chance to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature.
