Nongnooch Garden Pattaya Welcomes the Mongolian Ambassador and Delegation for Tree Planting and Garden Tour
Today, Mr. Kampon Tansatcha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, welcomed H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Thailand, and Lt. Col. Banpot Uachin, Director of Privileges Division, Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for a garden tour and tree planting ceremony.

On this occasion, the Ambassador planted a Millettia Pinnata tree, a small to medium-sized tree that can grow up to 18 meters tall. This species can be found in southern China, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and parts of East Asia. The arboretum, spanning 43 rai, has been established with permission from the Royal Forest Department. It aims to collect and plant valuable and rare tree species from around the world.

Nongnooch Garden Pattaya has created this arboretum for Thailand as a botanical learning center on land granted by the Royal Forest Department. The garden is responsible for all expenses related to the project, including collecting, planting, and maintaining the trees. Following the tree planting, the delegation toured over 50 beautifully landscaped gardens covering 1,700 rai, leaving a lasting impression on the visitors.
