The 1st Army Area Command, in collaboration with Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, has initiated the Green World Project to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skill development among personnel. This project aims to provide knowledge and skills that can be applied within organizations and government agencies. The training took place from July 1-14, 2024.

This is the third batch of training, involving 14 personnel from the 1st Army Area Command. The training covered topics such as garden maintenance, plant propagation, organic farming, and site decoration. Nongnooch Garden Pattaya is well-prepared to serve as the training venue and hopes that all agencies recognize the importance of tree conservation and maintenance to mitigate current global warming issues.

After completing the training, Mr. Kampol Tansajja, the President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, awarded certificates to all participants. The group then toured more than 50 beautiful gardens and planted Pala-U trees at the arboretum at Khao Ban Dai Krik, an area permitted by the Royal Forest Department. This ongoing project by Nongnooch Garden Pattaya aims to establish the arboretum as a national forest park.
