Nongnooch Garden Pattaya welcomes the Thailand Sansevieria Growers Club for a meeting and showcase of rare and unique varieties.
On July 13-14, 2024, Mr. Kampon Tansatcha, President of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, warmly welcomed Mr. Banlue Lodwan, President of the Thailand Sansevieria Growers Club, Mr. Pramot Rojruangsang, Vice President of the Club, and their team for a meeting to discuss the collection, exchange, and development of Sansevieria species for educational purposes.
Mr. Kampon expressed his honor in welcoming the club to Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, highlighting the introduction of a world-first hybrid between the Dracaena and Sansevieria, created by Thai horticulturists. This addition will enhance the diversity of unique species collected both domestically and internationally. Nongnooch Garden Pattaya currently houses over 18,000 plant species.
On July 14, 2024, the group will plant Sansevieria at the botanical garden at Khao Bandai Krit, authorized by the Forest Department. They will also tour various beautiful gardens, including the Sansevieria collection display at Nongnooch Garden Pattaya. This permanent exhibit allows Thai and international tourists to see and experience many rare and valuable plant species in the Sky Garden. Sansevieria, known for its decorative qualities, can be used for both indoor and outdoor decoration. Importantly, Sansevieria also has air-purifying properties, helping to improve air quality by absorbing toxins from the air.
