Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, under the leadership of Mr. Kampon Tansatcha, has had the honor of representing Thailand in the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek flower parade in the Netherlands, earning awards in 2016, 2018, and 2019. The Bloemencorso Bollenstreek is the largest spring flower festival in the Netherlands, attracting over a million visitors from around the world.
The parade float from Nongnooch Garden Pattaya captivated spectators with its beauty and intricate details, under the theme “Thai Culture and Religion.” It aimed to showcase Thailand's culture and promote Buddhism, the national religion, through significant symbols such as a Buddha statue representing Thai beliefs, an elephant symbolizing national pride, and the stunning Suphannahong Royal Barge, reflecting Thai traditions and artistry. The float featured participants waving the Thai flag and chanting “Thailand,” enhancing the country’s image to international audiences.
Mr. Kampon Tansatcha, as the Director of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, expressed pride in representing Thailand, sharing the beauty of Thai art, culture, and enduring beliefs with the global community, and inspiring interest and admiration among the Dutch people and tourists from around the world.
